Senior Mechanical Outfitting
Lead | Kvaerner is one of the world’s key contractors for delivering
engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for offshore platforms
and onshore plants. We realise some of the world’s most demanding projects as a
preferred partner for upstream and downstream oil and gas operators, industrial
companies and other engineering and fabrication contractors. | We expect that
the Senior Mechanical Outfitting Lead: - Can follow project HSE goals. - Can
take responsibility to the Mechanical Outfitting (MO) Construction – Can manage
the interface co-ordination of the MO Construction activities performed on
Project Sites and Subcontractor workshops to be in accordance with the scope of
work and project plan established. - Can take responsibility for leading a team
for engineers. - Can ensure that effective lines of communication are
maintained and good relations with relevant Project representatives. - Can
assist and advice in establishing direct communication between technical
personnel and construction personnel within civil and mechanical outfitting. - Can
co-ordinate the shop engineering/method activities performed at New Foundland
in Canada
to ensure these are executed in accordance with applicable rules and
regulations and in accordance with established project plans. - Can ensure
proper and direct communication lines between all departments in project. -Can
ensure technical quality in construction. - Can participate in trouble shooting
and can give assistance to construction team. -Can transfer experience from
previous projects to project team. - Can co-ordinate interfaces (physical,
system and information exchange). - Can ensure that the parties involved in the
project know and work to the project scope of work, overall plans and correct
input. - Can prepare and conduct interface meetings/work shops and assist in
resolving problems. - Can co-ordinate that relevant HSE requirements are known
and implemented in the MO Construction works. -Can establish and maintain a
positive and motivating working environment for the disciplines according to
corporate and project requirements. - Can Advise civil works team as required
with e.g. interface planning. - Can Advise Subcontracts Department with
technical input. - Can Advise the Planning Department with project planning. - Can
initiate verification activities to ensure quality in the discipline work |

The consequence is that we cannot place a teacher of a higher school in a
kindergarten. The degree might be accepted but the experience is simply not
there. We cannot place these teachers in regular German schools because
teachers need a German Staatsexamen to teach there. Private schools are
different but we don't have their vacancies.
So, our target group would be jobseekers with work experience with babies
to 6 year old children that have some sort of vocational training/degree in
that field.
